The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Petersen moves into the clinch successfully.

Andersson is trying to push Petersen away but Petersen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Andersson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petersen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Anibal Petersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andersson keeps the fight on the outside.

Petersen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Andersson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andersson looks to move to half guard but instead Petersen has passed into mount! Damn!

Petersen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Andersson for as long as he can get away with.

Petersen tries to close the distance and clinch but Andersson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Petersen drives through and clinches with Andersson against the cage.

Andersson cracks Petersen with a big right hand but Petersen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Andersson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Andersson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Petersen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Petersen tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Andersson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Andersson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Petersen's face.
Petersen is squirming around, avoiding Andersson's attempts to control the action.
Kristian Andersson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Petersen is looking to improve his position but Andersson isn't that keen on the idea.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
