The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brandis wants to control but Holloway postures up.

Holloway has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Holloway leaves his chin hanging out and Brandis seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Holloway crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
