The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heavyweight misses the shot to the body.
Petrov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Petrov throws out a loose jab but Heavyweight uses good head movement to avoid it.

Petrov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heavyweight.

Eugeniy Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov's corner calls for a 1-2. Petrov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Heavyweight drops Petrov with a beautiful combination! Petrov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Heavyweight is looking for the KO!

Heavyweight dips a shoulder and cracks Petrov with a mighty uppercut! Petrov falls back against the cage and Heavyweight unloads with a barrage of strikes! Petrov is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Heavyweight screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
