Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilmarinen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ilmarinen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ilmarinen looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Crane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ilmarinen momentarily.
Crane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ilmarinen's head backwards.
Crane lunges at Ilmarinen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ilmarinen's hand.
Jab, jab by Crane - just one landing.
Ilmarinen takes one to the side of the head.
Crane lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ilmarinen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Crane's half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Crane is positioning himself well to prevent Ilmarinen advancing to mount.
Crane is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Savage Dojo MMA Tokyo , so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Crane makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Crane.

Crane is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crane pulls Ilmarinen in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Crane scores with a spinning back kick!
Ilmarinen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ilmarinen tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Crane decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ilmarinen's guard.
Crane passes into half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Crane cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Crane looking to secure an arm triangle but Ilmarinen defends it well.
Crane breaks from Ilmarinen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Crane moves to the back.
Crane punches Ilmarinen on the ear.
Crane is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ilmarinen is defending well though. Crane let's go of the attempt for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crane is working for a rear naked choke. Ilmarinen is not defending it well and Crane has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Ilmarinen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Ilmarinen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
