Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Truck (ranked 8096 p4p, 662 weight class) and Fred Dodd (ranked 4106 p4p, 467 weight class). Fred Dodd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fred Dodd!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Truck shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dodd napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dodd is looking to regain half guard here but Truck keeps moving and retains side control.
Dodd on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Truck misses with the ground and pound.
Truck throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Truck throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Truck throws a strike aimed at the side of Dodd's head but Dodd avoids it well.
Truck misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dodd is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dodd can't do much from the bottom here.

Truck throws a strike aimed at the side of Dodd's head but Dodd avoids it well.

Dodd tries to get to full guard but Truck has control of the leg.

Dodd is controlling Truck's trapped leg to prevent Truck from advancing to side control.
Dodd moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dodd pulls Truck in to control the position.
Truck trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dodd avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Truck has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dodd fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dodd scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dodd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dodd lands an overhand right.
Truck throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Truck.

Dodd gets a clinch.
Truck tries for a takedown. No joy.
Truck misses with a punch on the inside.
Dodd lands a nice uppercut.
Truck goes for a takedown attempt but Dodd pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Dodd instigates a clinch.

Truck tries to score a body lock takedown but Dodd shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Truck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dodd throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Trucks head.

It looks like Corey Truck has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dodd manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dodd stalling in the clinch.
Dodd lands with a right to the head.
Truck tries a body shot but Dodd blocks it.
Truck tries for a takedown. No joy.
Dodd will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Truck up against the cage.
Truck drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dodd pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dodd lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Truck falls backwards - clearly groggy! Dodd dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
