Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sands (ranked 2097 p4p, 249 weight class) and Knutr Sveinsson (ranked 1124 p4p, 128 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sands might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hip Hop - By: Dead Prez. Knutr Sveinsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Knutr Sveinsson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Sands misses.
Sands misses with a hook. Sveinsson ducked under it nicely.
Sveinsson misses with a body shot.
Sands throws a low kick but Sveinsson moves out of range easily.
Sands jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sveinsson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sveinsson wants it to stay on the feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sveinsson! But no joy.
Sands scores with a nice right hand.
Sands shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Sveinsson counter with a right hand.
Sands swings widly with a right hand
and Sveinsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Carl Sands has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sands fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sveinsson manages to avoid it.
It seemed like Sveinsson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sveinsson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sands.
And Sveinsson responds with a good body kick, but Sands manages to step out the way in time.

Sveinsson sends Sands crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sveinsson is motioning to the referee to let Sands up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Sands is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sveinsson throws a big shot that misses.
Sands wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Oh Sands is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Sveinsson counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Sands out cold! What a finish! Sveinsson is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
