Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kung Po (ranked 1286 p4p, 182 weight class) and Corban Storm (ranked 2023 p4p, 278 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po closes the distance but Storm moves to the side
and Storm counters with a stiff right hand.
Storm digs a good body shot into Po's ribs.
That kick from Po tenderised Storm's leg. Storm is trying to keep his angry face on.
A telegraphed right hand from Po misses the target.

Po fires out a quick counter leg kick but Storm just manages to avoid it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Po checks a leg kick.

Storm throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Po looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Storm's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Storm goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kung Po will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Storm is pressing down on Po's thigh, looking to free his foot. Po is holding on for now.

Storm lands a big elbow - Po is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Storm!
