The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A looping hook to the body misses from Green. Gatsby does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gatsby is looking to counter punch.
Nice jab there from Gatsby.
Green displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gatsby.
Green throws a counter combo.
Gatsby throws a nice looking combination but Green bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Green throws out a counter right but Gatsby avoids it with no problem.
Joe Gatsby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gatsby throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gatsby shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gatsby showed some decent athleticism there.

Gatsby is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Green is just riding it out for now. Gatsby eventually gives up the hold.

Green is looking for a sweep. Gatsby is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gatsby wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving.
Green looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gatsby is one step ahead there.
Gatsby throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Green works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gatsby has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Let's hope that Green has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Green lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gatsby takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Green connects with a nice looking jab.
Soylent Green seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Green tries to land a front kick but Gatsby steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gatsby closes the distance and clinches up with Green, looking for a takedown. Gatsby pushes Green against the cage but Green circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gatsby drives through with a takedown into Green's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Gatsby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Green can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gatsby controls the pace.

Gatsby drops back, looking for a kneebar! Green looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Green looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Green!

Green is staying tight to Gatsby's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Green is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gatsby will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Green.

Gatsby goes for a double leg but Green avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Green continues to drive forward.

and Green counters with a three punch combo that has Gatsby backing up. Gatsby nods at Green to acknowledge the strikes.
Green throws a body punch but Gatsby moves out of range.

It looks like Joe Gatsby has been cut.

Green looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Gatsby walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Oh Gatsby is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Green sizes up Gatsby with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Green closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Gatsby! Green dives in looking to finish! Gatsby is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
