Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roi Asher (ranked 4392 p4p, 218 weight class) and Freddie Mercury (ranked 3860 p4p, 193 weight class). Mercury comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercury slaps away a takedown attempt from Asher, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mercury lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Asher has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mercury.
Mercury digs a good hook to Asher's body.
Mercury connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mercury thuds his shin into the meat of Asher's side.
Asher is breathing heavily.
Mercury throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Asher walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mercury.
Mercury lands with a nice combination. Asher backs away looking to recover.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mercury throws a leg kick which misses Asher's front leg but catches the back leg as Asher tries to avoid it.
Mercury lands with a thumping leg kick.

Mercury lands a big head kick that sends Asher tumbling to the mat! Mercury takes a step backwards and waves Asher back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Asher is rocked!
A head kick by Mercury - that's a beauty! Asher is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Mercury can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

After the fight, Freddie Mercury was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
