PBP Commentary

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Gaddafi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Al Gaddafi rolls, trying to escape but Nakayama keeps control of the position.
Nakayama connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Al Gaddafi to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yoshihiro Nakayama dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Nakayama counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Al Gaddafi badly! Nakayama follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Al Gaddafi out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Nakayama finished him against the cage.
