Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose The Blitz (ranked 244 p4p, 16 weight class) and Dominique Bell (ranked 602 p4p, 31 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jose The Blitz!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dominique Bell!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Bell or perhaps it was just good defense by The Blitz, which made it look bad.
The Blitz tries to counter with a takedown but Bell is quick to defend against it.
Bell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Blitz tries to avoid it but Bell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Blitz to the ground. The Blitz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bell checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bell feints the counter takedown.
Bell shoots in looking for a takedown but The Blitz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jose The Blitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominique Bell.

The Blitz looks for the body kick but Bell saw that one coming.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jose The Blitz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
