And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Turturro!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garret tries to sprawl but Turturro drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Turturro controlling the pace.
Garret is looking for a sweep. Turturro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turturro trying to control the action but Garret is working from the bottom.

Garret is defending against the submission attempts here by Turturro.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turturro seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Garret does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Turturro is stalling here. Garret is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Turturro seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Garret has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Turturro quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Garret has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Turturro celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
