Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Kovalev!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kovalev moves into range and clinches up with Ruane.

Ruane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kovalev tries to avoid it but Ruane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kovalev to the ground. Kovalev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
