Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Houston Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Muhammed Al Kabum!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Kabum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Glass was covering up waiting for the punch and Al Kabum finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Al Kabum throws a big elbow that misses.
Al Kabum wants to control from the top but Glass keeps moving.
Al Kabum is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Glass looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Glass thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Kabum is looking to stand up but Glass won't let him.

As Glass backs off Al Kabum throws a huge counter combo but Glass manages to avoid it all.

Al Kabum shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Glass's guard.
Al Kabum is working Glass over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Glass might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Al Kabum stands and throws Glass's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Glass could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Al Kabum is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Glass has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Glass!

Glass trying to stand up but can't free himself from Al Kabum's guard.
Glass working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Al Kabum wants to sweep here but Glass controlling him for the moment.

Al Kabum is working an open guard so Glass takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Glass gets caught flat footed, as Al Kabum shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Glass wriggles free and stands up.

Al Kabum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Glass swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Al Kabum connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Al Kabum fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Glass to the ground. Al Kabum is now in Glass's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Al Kabum cracks Glass with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The referee warns Glass that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Al Kabum manages to capitalize on a mistake by Glass to take his back!

Al Kabum has got his arm under Glass's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Glass has spun round into Al Kabum's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Al Kabum closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Glass has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Al Kabum is on him like a limpet, forcing Glass back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Glass got a little sloppy there for a moment and Al Kabum has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Glass has managed to get both his arms back between Al Kabum's legs - danger averted.

Al Kabum is just content to waste time from the top position. Glass takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Al Kabum tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Glass paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Glass gets caught napping as Al Kabum dives in and scores a takedown. Glass manages to retain guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Glass is on top in guard.

Glass's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Al Kabum doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Glass decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Houston Glass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Muhammed Al Kabum is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Al Kabum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Well Al Kabum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
