Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arto Blomsten (ranked 2569 p4p, 326 weight class) and Carney Duffy (ranked 2656 p4p, 333 weight class). Duffy has chosen Brawl - Bloody spit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blomsten works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Blomsten tries to close the distance and clinch but Duffy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Arto Blomsten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blomsten clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Duffy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Blomsten tries to pull guard but Duffy won't allow it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blomsten jumps guard but Duffy turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

It looks like Arto Blomsten has been cut.
Duffy lands a shoulder strike.

Duffy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Blomsten backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Duffy.

Blomsten is trying to pull guard but Duffy has him pressed against the cage.
Oh Blomsten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Duffy lands with a light punch inside.
Duffy working the clinch nicely. Blomsten is working for position but Duffy cracks him with a big knee to the head! Blomsten crumples up against the cage and Duffy lands two more shots before the ref can save Blomsten! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Carney Duffy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
