Zigaman comes to the cage accompanied by Cameo - Word Up!. Monk has chosen Fucka Bjorn as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Zigaman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Zigaman misses with a hook.

A countering left hand to the body from Monk misses.
Monk scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Nova Zigaman has been cut.
We've been informed that Monk has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Monk fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice straight punches there by Monk. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Monk.

In his post fight interview, Silas Monk started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
The defeated Nova Zigaman had this to say: 'You may have won the battle tonight but you haven't won the war. Tonight you were lucky... it will never happen again. The referee was all over you tonight... what did you do? Get on your hands and knees before the fight? 9/10 I will destroy you.'.
