Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whittaker misses with a right hand
and Brown counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Whittaker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Whittaker misses with a hook.
Brown is looking to clinch.
Brown closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brown lands in his opponent's guard.
Whittaker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
We've been hearing good reports from Brown's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Whittaker wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Brown is now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown wants to pass the guard but Whittaker is defending well.
Brown uses his free foot to push down on Whittaker's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Whittaker.
Whittaker gets back to half guard.
Whittaker is pressing down on Brown's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Brown prevents Whittaker from getting back to his feet.
Whittaker wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.
Brown is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Whittaker lands with a hook. Brown tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Whittaker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Whittaker counters with a thumping low kick.
Whittaker looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.
Whittaker's coach down at All Star Performance Institute was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Whittaker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Whittaker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Whittaker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brown.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Whittaker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Whittaker stuns Brown with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Whittaker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brown has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Whittaker drops Brown with a beautiful combination! Brown stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Whittaker is looking for the KO!
Brown is rocked!
It looks like Ethan Brown has been cut.
Are you kidding me?! Whittaker ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Brown clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
