PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edmundo Fuller (ranked 25106 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Reynolds (ranked 8138 p4p, 0 weight class). Colin Reynolds will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Colin Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Fuller as Reynolds shoots in.
As Reynolds tries to get set, Fuller tries to push him back and clinch up but Reynolds manages to avoid the attempt.
Reynolds throws a nice head kick!
Reynolds shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fuller as he avoids it easily.
Reynolds catches Fuller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fuller is pressed up against the cage. Reynolds has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fuller down to the mat. Fuller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reynolds shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fuller as he jumps to the side.

Reynolds has had enough of the clinch but Fuller keeps him there for the moment.

Fuller has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Reynolds is trying to keep an underhook but Fuller manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Reynolds has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fuller is working away from the top position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fuller in particular looking to stall.
Fuller is nestled in close to Reynolds, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fuller connects with a nice short shot to Reynolds's temple.

Fuller is trying to drag Reynolds to the mat but Reynolds just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
