Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Waldemar Nowak (ranked 7286 p4p, 303 weight class) and Noel Slager (ranked 8998 p4p, 329 weight class). Slager has chosen Best UFC entrance of all time!!! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Waldemar Nowak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noel Slager!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slager fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nowak, pushing him back against the cage.
Nowak jumps guard but Slager stands there with Nowak around his waist. Nowak gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nowak tries to pull guard but Slager won't allow it.
Nowak ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nowak no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slager wanted to stand there but Nowak had control of the position.
Nowak is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Slager frees his head nicely. Oh but Nowak has switched to an armbar! Slager is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Noel Slager spoke after the fight, saying 'sorry, i lost but i'll be back better and stronger as ever'.
