The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lora gets a takedown into half guard.

Lora seems to be working for a kimura but Burns defends the submission attempt.

Lora is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lora uses his free foot to push down on Burns's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Burns.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Burns tries to hold on but Lora postures up.
Burns is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Lora is staying active.

Burns tries to control the position but Lora now has his back.
Burns breaks Lora's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Lora working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burns doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Burns manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lora is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Burns rolls with it to try and escape but Lora cranks on the arm and Burns is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
