The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fischbach stalks Hawkins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hawkins's face. Hawkins staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Shirley Hawkins has been cut.
Hawkins shoots and misses
and Fischbach counters with a crisp one two that drops Hawkins! Fischbach thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hawkins to his feet! Hawkins is in big trouble!
Hawkins is rocked!
Fischbach lands a huge takedown. Hawkins is out but the ref is slow to react and Fischbach lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Hawkins lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
