The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Mitchell closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Guy quickly recovers to half guard.

Mitchell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guy sees it coming and defends easily.

Mitchell is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Guy has managed to free his arm - good work.

Guy has hold of Mitchell's hands but Mitchell slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Mitchell is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Guy defends it well.
Guy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Guy tries to get out of the position.

Guy is looking to get back to is feet but Mitchell passes into side control.
Guy gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mitchell on the ground.
You get the feeling that Guy really doesn't like being in this position too much.
