Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Domingo Chavez (ranked 3882 p4p, 449 weight class) and Tommy Ebbitt (ranked 3927 p4p, 452 weight class). Ebbitt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by DMX-Ain't No Sunshine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Domingo Chavez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Ebbitt!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ebbitt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chavez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ebbitt gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Chavez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ebbitt thinking.
Chavez scores with a nice body kick.
Ebbitt walks into a left hand.

Chavez lands a big right hand that sends Ebbitt crashing to the mat! Chavez stays standing though and waves Ebbitt back to his feet!

Ebbitt is rocked!

It looks like Tommy Ebbitt has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ebbitt takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Chavez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ebbitt was well out of range. Poor timing from Chavez.
Ebbitt steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Chavez.
Chavez lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ebbitt will feel that in the morning.
Ebbitt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ebbitt misses with a combination
and Chavez counters with a body kick that stops Ebbitt in his tracks momentarily.
Ebbitt looks winded!

Chavez sends Ebbitt crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chavez is motioning to the referee to let Ebbitt up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Ebbitt is still on wobbly legs! Can Chavez finish him?
Chavez throws a pinpoint strike between Ebbitt's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Ebbitt crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Chavez scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Domingo Chavez!
After the fight, Domingo Chavez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Tommy Ebbitt stepped up to the mic, saying 'i'll be back'.
