Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louis Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson misses with a takedown
and Shine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice sprawl there from Shine as Hudson shoots in.

Shine moves into range and clinches up with Hudson.
Hudson wants a takedown.
Ivan Shine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Hudson.
Shine is pressed up against the cage. Hudson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shine down to the mat. Shine avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Shine scores with a decent looking hook.
Louis Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shine closes the distance and clinches.
Shine lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hudson backwards.
Shine lands a nice uppercut.
Shine lands with a light punch inside.
Shine digs a right hand underneath Hudson's ribcage. Hudson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Shine creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hudson's defenses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shine scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hudson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hudson is working for takedown but Shine is calmly controlling the position for now.
Shine pushes Hudson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Shine lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hudson backwards.

Shine has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hudson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Shine thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Shine keeps control of the position as Hudson tries to break free.
Shine is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Hudson rolls, trying to escape but Shine keeps control of the position.
Shine gets his hands free as Hudson looks to control.
Shine scores with strikes from the back.

Hudson trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shine is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hudson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Shine has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hudson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Shine doesn't care though - he's delighted!
