Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Case (ranked 365 p4p, 10 weight class) and Super Heavyweight (ranked 466 p4p, 11 weight class). Super Heavyweight has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Justin Case's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case throws a hook to the side of Heavyweight's head but Heavyweight sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Heavyweight's coach down at Gizmo's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Heavyweight's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Case throws a jab when Heavyweight was well out of range.
Heavyweight avoids a punch combination nicely.
Heavyweight takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Super Heavyweight has been cut.

The fighters circle momentarily. Case darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Heavyweight takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Case misses with an uppercut. Heavyweight saw that one coming.
Case looks to land a right hand but Heavyweight moved out of range.
Heavyweight tries to clinch but Case moves out of range.
Heavyweight throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Case takes a swing at Heavyweight's ribcage but misses.
Heavyweight doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Case works Heavyweight's body with a nice hook.
Heavyweight lunges at Case with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Case's hand.
Heavyweight cracks Case with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Case has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Case looks to land a left hand but Heavyweight moved out of range nicely.
Case uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Heavyweight.
A little feinted left hand from Case on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Heavyweight dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Case uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Heavyweight.
Case is looking to counter punch.
Heavyweight throws a body shot but no joy.
Case walks into a left hand.
Case drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Case jabs Heavyweight right on the nose. Heavyweight blinks but takes it well.

Super Heavyweight's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Case throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Heavyweight sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Heavyweight moves into the clinch successfully.
Case tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Case fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Case misses with a short punch on the inside.
Case working aggressively here.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Heavyweight creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Case pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Case misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It seemed like Heavyweight was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Case loads up on a big right hand but Heavyweight slips the punch.
Case is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Heavyweight tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Case paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Case is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
No joy there for Heavyweight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Case scores with a jab. Heavyweight acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Case lands the left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
