Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jermey Arnold (ranked 1762 p4p, 238 weight class) and Roger Little (ranked 2314 p4p, 295 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Little's choice of entrance music: Welcome to the Jungle. Roger Little has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little misses with a jab, cross combination.
Little tries to land a front kick but Arnold steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Arnold moves out of range of the body kick from Little.
Little throws the left hand but Arnold avoids the punch easily.
Arnold is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Arnold defending well as Little loads up on a big left hand.
Arnold went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Little tries to land a body kick
and Arnold counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Arnold moves in looking to clinch but Little pushes him off.
Little looking to land some kicks to the body here.
An attempted straight right counter from Arnold misses the target.
Little throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Arnold looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Little lands the left hand.
Little lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arnold circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Little stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Little connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Arnold momentarily.
Little throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Little tries a low kick but Arnold avoids it.
Little throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Arnold counters with a nice uppercut.
Arnold on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Arnold moves out of range as Little strikes.
Arnold throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Arnold is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Little gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Arnold counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Arnold counters with a straight right hand.
Little shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Arnold eats them both and turns towards Little to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Little throws a right and a left that both miss.
Arnold lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Little jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Arnold lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Little blocks a jab.
Little bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Little.
Little throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Little misses with a double jab
and Arnold connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Little swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Arnold counters with a straight right hand.
A swing and a miss from Little.
Arnold misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A big left from Little misses.
Arnold is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Little throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Arnold.

Little shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Arnold eats them both and turns towards Little to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Little throws out a counter right but Arnold avoids it with no problem.
Arnold walks into a jab.
Little throws an off balance right hand
and Arnold counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Arnold swings for the body but Little moves out of range.
Little throws a lazy uppercut
and Arnold counters with a straight right hand.
Little throws a combination that misses
and Little takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Arnold keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Little is rocked!
Little throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Arnold counters with a nice low kick that buckles Little's knee momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Arnold misses with a head kick.
Little pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Arnold appears to be looking for a big counter.
Little throws a hook but Arnold avoids it easily.
Arnold gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Little cracks Arnold with a right hand to the side of the head.

Little misses with a lunging right hand
and Arnold counters with a flying knee that drops Little! Arnold dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
