The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boutrox fails with the takedown.
Boutrox shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nazarro as he avoids it easily.
A head kick from Nazarro lands but Boutrox takes it in his stride.
Boutrox closes the distance and clinches up with Nazarro, looking for a takedown. Boutrox pushes Nazarro against the cage but Nazarro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Nazarro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Nazarro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nazarro wants it to stay on the feet.

Nazarro creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Nazarro is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boutrox knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Nazarro creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Boutrox sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Nazarro thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Boutrox tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Nazarro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Boutrox is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Boutrox can't do much from the bottom here.
