Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Korean Kimchi (ranked 3325 p4p, 307 weight class) and Zac Brown (ranked 2484 p4p, 249 weight class). Kimchi's entrance music is BigBang & 2NE1 - Lollipop. A fine choice. Zac Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Korean Kimchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zac Brown!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimchi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kimchi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Brown scores with a jab to the jaw.
Brown darts in and clinches Kimchi up against the cage.
Brown throws a punch but it's blocked by Kimchi.
Kimchi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kimchi tries to break the clinch but Brown is controlling the position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brown creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Kimchi counters with a straight right hand.

Brown moves in looking to clinch but Kimchi pushes him off.
Kimchi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kimchi shoots in looking for a takedown but Brown manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kimchi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kimchi throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kimchi dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Kimchi's head and hops out.
Kimchi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Kimchi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Korean Kimchi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kimchi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Brown has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Brown has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brown there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kimchi cracks Brown with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Brown has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Kimchi manages to move to mount!

Brown is squirming around, avoiding Kimchi's attempts to control the action.
Kimchi jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Brown manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kimchi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kimchi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Brown to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Korean Kimchi dominated that round.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kimchi decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Kimchi drops Brown with a big left hand! Brown is injured, injured bad! Kimchi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
