Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Rogers (ranked 5144 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ling Manchu (ranked 17555 p4p, 0 weight class). Manchu has chosen Bodies as his entrance music. Ling Manchu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Manchu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rogers did well to prevent Manchu getting side control.

Rogers seems to be working for a kimura but Manchu defends the submission attempt.

Rogers working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rogers remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Rogers is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Manchu's shoulder. That is not cool.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rogers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Manchu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rogers tries to counter by clinching up but Manchu breaks away and moves out of range.
