Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Hirsch (ranked 3531 p4p, 67 weight class) and Bricks Thrower (ranked 2500 p4p, 48 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Hirsch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bricks Thrower!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirsch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hirsch throws a right and a left that Thrower avoids nicely.
Thrower misses with a two punch combination.
Thrower lands a head kick!
Sloppy strikes from Thrower. Those never looked like landing.
Hirsch fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thrower avoids it really well and circles away.
Hirsch tries for a takedown but Thrower sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Hirsch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thrower rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hirsch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thrower throws a nice looking combination but Hirsch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hirsch shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thrower defends it nicely.

Hirsch dodges the punch combination from Thrower.
Thrower throws a right and a left that Hirsch avoids nicely.

Thrower is standing up over Hirsch. Hirsch looks to escape but Thrower dives into side control.

Hirsch looks to move to half guard but instead Thrower has passed into mount! Damn!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thrower jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hirsch is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hirsch and Thrower has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Thrower stands up and beckons Hirsch to his feet.
A head kick from Thrower lands but Hirsch takes it in his stride.
Hirsch takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Thrower looks to land a body kick but Hirsch moved away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Thrower.

Thrower lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hirsch takes a step back to recover.
Thrower scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hirsch shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thrower defends it nicely.
Hirsch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hirsch feinted with a counter takedown.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hirsch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thrower keeps working.
Hirsch lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Hirsch is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Thrower has managed to free his arm - good work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hirsch shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thrower as he jumps to the side.
Thrower is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Thrower tries to bum rush Hirsch with a series of wild strikes but Hirsch uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A left and a right from Thrower both land. Nice combination.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hirsch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thrower's guard.

We've been hearing that Hirsch has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harry Hirsch will probably get the nod.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Thrower has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hirsch is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Hirsch shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hirsch was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bricks Thrower comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Thrower has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
