Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Sane (ranked 1913 p4p, 186 weight class) and Rick Douglas (ranked 2983 p4p, 285 weight class). Douglas has chosen Problems lil scrappy as his entrance music. Justin Sane has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sane takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sane fails with the takedown
and Sane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Douglas throws out a powerful jab.

Sane scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sane is working to tighten his grip on Douglas's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Douglas has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sane is really squeezing tight and eventually Douglas passes out! Sane breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
