Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Trotta (ranked 4917 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ranga Doom (ranked 23815 p4p, 0 weight class). Ranga Doom is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doom misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Trotta stuffs the takedown.
A counter left hand to the body from Trotta misses its target.
Doom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Trotta circles away quickly and effectively.
Trotta throws a big counter combination but Doom scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Doom lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Doom scores with a head kick. Trotta tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Trotta tightens his grip and picks Doom up, before dumping him to the ground. Doom manages to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Trotta tries to free his leg and advance position but Doom is retaining full guard.
Doom has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad Amsterdam. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Trotta lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Doom tests Trotta's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Doom stalks Trotta and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Trotta's face. Trotta staggers backwards, shaken.
Doom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Trotta manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looked like Trotta was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Doom is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Doom gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Doom tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Trotta just stands there and leans against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Trotta prevents Doom from breaking the clinch.

Doom is looking to break free of the clinch but Trotta has double underhooks.

Doom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trotta's waist but Trotta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Doom off to one side.

Doom shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trotta pinned against the cage. Trotta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Doom feints a jab promting Trotta to slip. Doom then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Trotta slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Trotta takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

A quick step to the side and Trotta tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
