Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malako Lahua (ranked 3826 p4p, 438 weight class) and Kyle Pits (ranked 8312 p4p, 665 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Pits!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pits cracks Lahua with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pits misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lahua throwing a counter right hand but Pits manages to avoid it.
Pits throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It appears Lahua was looking to counter with a kick there.
Lahua avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lahua tried to counter with a leg kick but Pits avoided it.
Pits throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lahua defending well as Pits loads up on a big left hand.
Sloppy strikes from Pits. Those never looked like landing.
As Pits looks to move away, Lahua throws a big counter combo but Pits just gets out of the way.
Lahua shoots in for a takedown but Pits shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pits rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lahua moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pits tries to bum rush Lahua with a series of wild strikes but Lahua uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lahua blocks the body kick.
Pits throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lahua.
Pits lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Lahua drives through with a takedown into Pits's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Pits pushes Lahua off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Lahua shoots in for a takedown but Pits shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pits looks to land a combination. Lahua sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Pits walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lahua checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

It looked like Lahua wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Pits throws a right hand that Lahua ducks under and follows up with a left that Lahua also avoids with ease.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pits wants to control but Lahua is having none of it.
Pits keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pits is in a horrible position here. Lahua smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lahua is landing with some decent strikes but Pits is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Lahua is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pits can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Lahua lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
It looks like Kyle Pits has been cut.

Oooh a big shot lands for Lahua! Pits is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
