The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiote dives in and grabs Rostov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rostov pushes down on Tiote's head and hops out.
Rostov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tiote to the ground. Rostov is now in Tiote's guard.
Rostov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Rostov advances to half guard.
Rostov seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Tiote has recovered full guard.
Rostov is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rostov won't allow Tiote to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rostov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tiote is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rostov stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Tiote has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Rostov manages to get his head free but now Tiote has transitioned to an armbar! Rostov grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Tiote! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
