Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rogan Braga (ranked 3011 p4p, 391 weight class) and Ricardo Alvarez (ranked 2385 p4p, 331 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Braga might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Happy. Alvarez has chosen Eminem–Phenomenal as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braga scores with a body shot.
Alvarez misses with a two punch combination.
A combination from Alvarez does no damage.
Alvarez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Alvarez throws a counter combo.
Alvarez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Braga half committed to a counter leg kick.
A low kick from Alvarez is predictable there
and Braga counters with a nice body kick.
Alvarez throws a low kick, looking for Braga's leg but Braga calmly moves out of range.
Braga fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Braga keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Alvarez.
Alvarez misses with a wild combination.
Braga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Ricardo Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alvarez misses with a low kick.
Braga appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Alvarez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Braga.
Alvarez scores with a one two! Braga had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alvarez thows a leg kick but Braga checks it
and Braga counters with a nice leg kick.
Braga circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Alvarez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Braga follows Alvarez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rogan Braga!
