Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denver Morgan (ranked 24484 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kinzinho DaMAma (ranked 7569 p4p, 0 weight class). DaMAma has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for DaMAma.
DaMAma pulls out of a head kick attempt.
DaMAma throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morgan's waist but Morgan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing DaMAma off to one side.

DaMAma throws a hook to the side of Morgan's head but Morgan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Morgan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Morgan shoots in and drives through. DaMAma sprawls well.

and Morgan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morgan tries to score a power double leg takedown but DaMAma sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Morgan somewhat.
Morgan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping DaMAma at a distance.

Morgan dives in and grabs DaMAma's left leg, looking for a takedown. DaMAma pushes down on Morgan's head and hops out.
DaMAma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morgan pinned against the cage. Morgan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Morgan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down DaMAma for as long as he can get away with.

Morgan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of DaMAma's face.
