Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Craik!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Williams.
Craik wants to counter the offense by Williams and move into the clinch position.

Craik is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Williams gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Craik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

As Craik looks to move away, Williams throws a big counter combo but Craik just gets out of the way.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No joy there for Williams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Williams for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Craik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Craik somewhat.

Williams stalks Craik and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Craik's face. Craik staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Craik on the side of the head.

Brandon Williams decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
