It seemed like James was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

AssKicken lands a really nice looking cross but James seems unphased.

That has opened up Gerrald James's cut even more.
James tries to bum rush AssKicken with a series of wild strikes but AssKicken uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
AssKicken scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
AssKicken takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
James takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Some bone on bone action there as AssKicken checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
AssKicken wants to slow James down by chopping away at his legs.

and James makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
James is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops AssKicken like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving AssKicken from another fist facial!
