The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winston takes a swing at Byrd's ribcage but misses.
Winston throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Byrd tries to counter with a clinch but Winston shakes him off and moves away.
Winston throws a front kick that sends Byrd stumbling back into the cage.
Winston misses with a body kick.
Winston throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Winston pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A jab from Winston does it's job there.
Byrd gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Winston counters with a nice body kick.
Byrd looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crunch! Winston slams his shin into Byrd's torso.
Byrd is aggressively charging in as Winston backs up avoiding any damage. Winston tosses out a jab and Byrd runs right into it face first! Byrd is out cold! Winston dropped down on all fours and is barking in Byrd's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
