Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Kid blocks a low kick nicely.
Hussain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The Kid went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

As The Kid backs off Hussain throws a huge counter combo but The Kid manages to avoid it all.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Hussain makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. The Kid really felt that one!
Hussain throws a right hand that The Kid ducks under and follows up with a left that The Kid also avoids with ease.

Hussain shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. The Kid eats them both and turns towards Hussain to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hussain lands a really nice looking cross but The Kid seems unphased.
Hussain has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hussain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether The Kid might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Hussain goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and The Kid counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That has opened up Emre Hussain's cut even more.

It looked like The Kid was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hussain.

and The Kid counters with a straight right hand.

Hussain connects with a good right hand that stumbles The Kid. The Kid circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The Kid throws a combination. Hussain tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hussain is rocked!
Hussain pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces The Kid back to the cage. Hussain follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The Kid lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hussain at a distance.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hussain.

and The Kid counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hussain! The Kid lets Hussain back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hussain is still on wobbly legs! Can The Kid finish him?
The cut above Emre Hussain's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A swing and a miss from The Kid.
The Kid finds Hussain's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Hussain flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. The Kid lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Hussain will be OK.
