The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez shoots in looking for a takedown. Murphy tries to sprawl out of it but Martinez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murphy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Murphy drives through and clinches with Martinez against the cage.
Murphy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Martinez has him pressed against the cage.

Martinez has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Murphy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Murphy manages to escape to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murphy has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Martinez! Can he survive? No! He's out! Murphy gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
