Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Lo (ranked 4138 p4p, 447 weight class) and Rico Suarez (ranked 3432 p4p, 378 weight class). Rico Suarez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Suarez!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Lo.

It looks like Rico Suarez has been cut.
Lo throws a jab when Suarez was well out of range.
Suarez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lo. Lo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lo misses with a lunging right hand
and Suarez counters with a two punch combo.
Suarez pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lo is out of range and Suarez settles back down.
Lo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Suarez looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nice body punch from Suarez.
A slapping leg kick lands for Suarez.
Lo throws a right hand that misses
and Suarez counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lo takes a swing at Suarez's ribcage but misses.
Suarez counters with a body kick.
Suarez staying out of range there.
Suarez looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lo throws a big shot that misses.

Suarez throws a lazy right hand but Lo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Suarez works the jab nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Suarez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lo throws a lazy uppercut
and Suarez counters with a straight right hand.
Lo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Suarez throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lo swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Suarez counters with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lo scores with a shot to the body.
Lo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Suarez looks to throw a body kick
and Lo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lo throws a sloppy body shot
and Suarez counters with a left to the body.
Lo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Suarez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jackie Lo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suarez goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

A slow jab from Lo misses its intended target.
Lo misses with a hook
and Suarez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Suarez! But no joy.
Lo lands a jab to Suarez's midsection.
Suarez throws a lazy uppercut

and Lo counters with a nice right hand that sends Suarez toppling to the canvas! Suarez scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lo finish him?!

Suarez is rocked!
Suarez switches off momentarily and Lo cracks him with a monster right hand! Suarez topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Lo dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Lo!
