Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Como fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bill Como seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ruger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Como looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've been hearing good reports from Como's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Como tries to bench press Ruger off him but Ruger keeps the position.
Ruger postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Como is looking for a sweep.
Como gets back to half guard.
Ruger thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Como's head.
Como blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ruger.
Como has hold of Ruger's hands but Ruger slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ruger looks to land a strike but Como avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Como being controlled here, momentarily.
Ruger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Como wants to sweep but no luck.

Ruger is looking to work some ground and pound but Como has wrist control.

Como kicks Ruger off and gets to his feet.
Como looks to land a combination but Ruger avoids it well.

Ruger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Como did well to prevent Ruger getting side control.
Ruger lands with a punch from half guard.
Ruger wants to take a breather but Como is having none of it.
Ruger lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Como is rocked!
Nice strikes from Ruger there.
Oh Como is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ruger takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ruger lands a big elbow - Como is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Ruger!
