Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Anvile (ranked 3364 p4p, 408 weight class) and Arthur Menezes (ranked 3886 p4p, 453 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anvile lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Anvile definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Anvile dodges the punch combination from Menezes.
Menezes throws an off balance right hand

and Anvile counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Anvile.

Anvile's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Menezes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anvile pinned against the cage. Anvile gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Anvile fakes the leg kick and cracks Menezes in the body.
That kick from Anvile tenderised Menezes's leg. Menezes is trying to keep his angry face on.
Anvile lands with a shot to the body.
Anvile tries a head kick but it misses.
Anvile's corner calls for a 1-2. Anvile obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anvile avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anvile throws a body kick that misses.
Menezes goes for a double leg but Anvile avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Anvile continues to drive forward.

Anvile tries to keep at a distance but Menezes has taken the fight into the clinch.
