Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Rondeau!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly tests Rondeau's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kelly lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rondeau at a distance.
Rondeau takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rondeau tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rondeau gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kelly.
Kelly dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rondeau. That did some damage!
Jack Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rondeau takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kelly lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kelly darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kelly digs a good body shot into Rondeau's ribs.
Kelly lands a jab to Rondeau's midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rondeau is rocked!
Kelly throws a monster overhand right that drops Rondeau! Kelly follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
