Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Jerome Weathers (ranked 20380 p4p, 737 weight class) and Mario Zambrana (ranked 5250 p4p, 569 weight class). Weathers comes to the ring accompanied by Heathens - Twenty One Pilots. Zambrana has chosen Impact is Imminent as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weathers moves in looking to clinch but Zambrana pushes him off.
Weathers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zambrana.
Zambrana lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Jerome Weathers has been cut.
Weathers doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Weathers darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Zambrana moves into the clinch.
Weathers throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Weathers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

A nice side step and Zambrana releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Weathers uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Weathers throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zambrana displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Weathers throws out the jab.

Zambrana tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Zambrana has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That was a close round but I would say that Jerome Weathers will probably get the nod.

Zambrana's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Weathers connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zambrana scrambles back to his feet.

Weathers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Zambrana manages to break the clinch.
Weathers lands with a kick to the ribs.

Zambrana cracks Weathers with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Weathers get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Weathers looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Oh Weathers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Weathers tries to bum rush Zambrana with a series of wild strikes but Zambrana uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Weathers seems to have got his legs back now.
Weathers throws a nice looking combination but Zambrana bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Weathers throws a right hand that Zambrana ducks under and follows up with a left that Zambrana also avoids with ease.

Jerome Weathers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Zambrana connects with a quick right hand that sends Weathers tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
