The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Vale shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Diggs won't allow Vale to pass to mount.
Diggs wants to improve his position but Vale is controlling well.
Vale slows the pace down in half guard.

Vale is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Diggs is looking to improve his position.

Vale is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Diggs is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Vale is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Diggs is surviving well by controlling Vale's body position as best he can.
Diggs bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Diggs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vale swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diggs tries to free his leg and advance position but Vale is retaining full guard.
Diggs slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Vale tries to bench press Diggs off him but Diggs keeps the position.
Diggs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vale keeps working.
