Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 1146 p4p, 162 weight class) and Liam McGuiness (ranked 2967 p4p, 370 weight class). Creed's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, James Brown - Living in America. McGuiness has chosen The Boys are Back by Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuiness misses the jab.
And Creed counters with a quick kick to the body but McGuiness blocks it.
Creed falls off balance throwing a combination
and McGuiness counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McGuiness misses with an uppercut. Creed saw that one coming.
Creed throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McGuiness.

Creed moves into the clinch successfully.
Creed lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Creed gets through McGuiness's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGuiness will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Creed up against the ropes.

McGuiness manages to break the clinch.

Creed cracks McGuiness with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can McGuiness get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. McGuiness looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Creed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGuiness manages to avoid it.

Creed will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Creed scores a knockdown with a big right hand! McGuiness beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Creed is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
