Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Roy (ranked 2763 p4p, 307 weight class) and Maikel Fortuyn (ranked 2637 p4p, 291 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortuyn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Roy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fortuyn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fortuyn walks into a jab.

It looks like Maikel Fortuyn has been cut.
Fortuyn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A jab from Fortuyn does it's job there.
Fortuyn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fortuyn throws a lazy head kick
and Roy counters with a straight right hand.
Roy walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Fortuyn drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Roy swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Fortuyn's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Roy!
Our winner, Roy Roy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
