PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yen Askren (ranked 4392 p4p, 485 weight class) and Treylin Clark (ranked 5334 p4p, 555 weight class). Askren kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hello from the Askren Side. Clark has chosen Many Men By 50 cent as his entrance music. Treylin Clark will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Treylin Clark!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren throws a hook to the side of Clark's head but Clark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Clark fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Askren looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Clark gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Clark is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Askren looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Clark with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yen Askren will probably get the nod.

Yen Askren really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
